A VERY Bad Tummy Ache!

Since I moved to my forever home with my moms, I have had an obsession with chewing and swallowing small socks. In fact, I have vomited several and worried my moms several times. They try to keep the socks away but I steal them from the laundry and figure out all of their tricks. Well about two weeks ago I swallowed a sock again, but this time it gave me a horrendous belly ache. I was vomiting a lot, I also became very sad and weak. My mom is a veterinary technician and recognized these symptoms as serious, so she rushed me to work in the morning. They took pictures of the inside of my tummy and became increasingly suspicious of an obstruction (the lodging of a foreign, indigestible substance in the intestine, stomach.) After also undergoing an ultrasound they saw an object in my belly, something they concluded looked like fabric. So mom decided after seeing this, and my deteriorating condition, to go through with surgery. They cut me open and found a little, black sock lodged in the middle of my small intestine. The intestine where the sock was found was already very irritated and turning a purple color. I woke up confused and in pain. My first night was hard, but after about 2 days I really started to feel better. Once mom began to start feeding my my normal raw food again along with some digestive enzymes, probiotics, and prebiotics I really started to feel better. Now about 2 weeks later you wouldn't even know that I was sick or that I had surgery. No more socks for me!
