Arrival Story:
Buddy was adopted from the humane society when he was five months old. It was puppy love at first sight!
Bio:
A few years ago in January, Buddy was hit by a car and ran away. For one week he was out on his own, and for another week he was in the pound. (They couldn't contact us because his dog tags hadn't been properly validated). When Buddy was found, he was miles away from home and had even crossed a river, either over the ice or on a bridge. We took one final, hopeful trip to the pound to check for him, and miraculously, he was there. It was one of the happiest moments of our life to get him back.

Hooray! Today is my birthday and I am five years old!
I think we're going to have a party tomorrow. Maybe some of my doggy friends can come. I haven't seen some of them in a while. Or maybe I'll get to go on a special dog walk with my family!
Today is also the first day of summer for my humans, so they will be home a whole lot more. I'm so excited to spend more time with them! That's one of the best birthday presents I could ever get already, to have more time with my humans.
