We have a new dog park!

On Saturday Mama and Daddy took us to the new dog park here in Baton Rouge. It's not very far from our house and, boy, were we excited to go. Well, all except Nate, who gets carsick.

When we first arrived, there was a huge pitbull there and I kept my eye on him. I don't like pitbulls since one attacked my little brother Sneauball just over a year ago. I tried to get that pitbull when he bit Sneau and I have to keep protecting my little brother. I ended up being right about this pitbull as well because he attacked a golden retriever and bit the golden's daddy. All the while this pitbull was on a leash but his mama couldn't control him. Mama and Daddy made sure we stayed at opposite ends of the park from him and when he jumped the golden, they put us on our leashes so we'd be safe.

Once that mean old pitbull left, we had such a good time. We walked all around and met other doggies. Most of them were big doggies but we didn't care. Nate ran and ran and ran and Daddy tried to keep up with him. Sneauball and I followed Daddy and Nate until I realized that Mama wasn't with us. That's when I had to run full blast back to check on Mama. She was leaning up against a tree just watching all of us. When she told me she was ok I ran full blast back to meet Daddy and my brothers so I didn't miss anything.

It was a fun morning in the park. I followed it with an afternoon of napping under Mama's chair. What a good day!
