Thanks, Dogster, for featuring my diary today. And thanks to all who sent congrats, gifts, and invites to be friends.

It is another red hot day here and I'm just laying around on the cool basement floor, while my mom is chopping down the ivy off the wall in the back yard, and my brother is mowing the lawn.

My mom says that the ivy is ugly and is a breeding ground for mold and insects, which may be causing the dermatitis that flares up on me every so often. She always says that she's doing her Joan Crawford impersonation while she hacks away at the ivy, whatever that means.

Well, I guess that's it for now. I'm gonna go get some cold water to drink and go back to laying around. Too hot to do anything else today.
