Arrival Story:
The story of how I came to my new family is quite the usual one. Mom's oldest dog, Maxx, is my father. It was an accidental pregnancy with the my dog-mom down the road and a litter of five came from her. we were all black with a patch of white on the chest and tips of our toes. i have three sisters and one brother and I was the biggest one out of us and the curliest and chubbiest little puppy Mom ever saw and she immediately picked me. i was her belated christmas present to herself. She say I am very special because when maxx is gone then she will still have a part of him in me. its alot to live up to because Maxx is a very close friend to her but i will help her in any way possible when he is gone. im now full grown after a year and i have hair that is about six inches long all over my body which mostly comes from my dog-mom and the curliness comes from Maxxie. i'm a jumper and a little Houdini which is what mom should have named me. i'm only a year and three months old but in that short period of time, i think i have become a big part of the family and i hope so too because they have become a big part of mine. mom always says that she is so lucky to have me in her life so i know she loves me.

So the weekend is over and I feel like a brand ne puppy. Mom trimmed my coat late last week, well I shouldnt ay trimmed because she cut it all off. I added a new photo of my new self and i hope everyone likes my new cut because I sure do. My Dad said that i looked like an actual puppy dog again and wasnt hesitant to play with me. He used to be because I guess i gave him that vib that i was mean or something. He only knew me little for about half a year but now he plays with me all the time. After Mom was on it totalled up to 3 walmart bags full of hair. Wow!! That was alot :) She gave me a bath yesterday and it felt so good to get massaged and pampered. Now I smell great and all the dirt is gone and I can go roll in some more! I bet my Mom and Dad would love that :D

My Wild Hair

ok, so i have Alot of hair on me that looks just ridiculous. im a spaniel mix and my hair all over my body including my face is about six to seven inches long. through the winter, my mom let the hair grow except for on my face because i like to be outside by my br=irth father and new pal Maya. she trims it almost once a week, but it grows fast. im a sweet dog when i wants to be and very fast and energetic all the time. i know mom cant wait til spring is really here so she can groom me and get it off me finally. she knows i'll feel so much different but better and be much much faster. im going to look way different but im looking forward to being a well groomed and shaved puppy. i am way too hairy and it needs to come off. there are benefits to this besides getting me to look decent, it will be easier to bath me for fleas even though i dont have any, my collar will fit properly, it wont tangle and cause me too much stress, be much easier to go for a walk with me without the worry that i may slip off my collar, which is a big proble for my mom because i love to runand chase things. i dont mean to be irritating by doing that, i just love to run and i always come back to her. although she knows it will give me more speed she cant wait to help me get some weight off my shoulders which snt too much but we all want me to look my best this summer.
