Arrival Story:
Uncle Albert is a new guy about 4 years old. As you can see from his picture he has a terrible scar on the right side of his face, the story is that he was bitten by a poisonous snake. Uncle Albert has not had an easy life. He was adopted from the Temple shelter in September 2012 then picked up as a stray but never reclaimed. I evaluated him in December and when I went to pick him up he had been adopted again that very morning. Last week he was picked up as a stray again and no one came for him. Uncle Albert has nice manners and doesn't jump up or pull on the leash. He is an energetic guy and dog friendly. He will be neutered within a week, but right now he has a skin problem that may be an infection or just poor nutrition. The skin scrate came back negative for mange and, amazingly, he's also negative for heartworms *:) happy. He's very skinny, but extremely affectionate and just lives to be hugged and loved on.
