Arrival Story:
Taking a trip to Wal-Mart led me and a friend to an old pick up truck with a sign informing us that there were free puppies. There were two left, and Hotspur was the one that caught my eye.
The woman who had them informed me, since I was undecided on whether to take one home or not, that if I didn't take Hotspur, she was going to leave her out in a kennel all winter with no food or water until she died.
I've never been so angry in all my life, and I walked away with her in my arms, vowing to give her the best life I could.
Bio:
Hotspur is the best dog ever. She's my best friend, my partner in crime, the best hunter I know, and always up for a cuddle sesh. She guards the house from the train, as well as does her part to keep the kitchen clean by eating all of the crumbs we drop while cooking.
