Arrival Story:
Meet Rocco! He is 3 ½ year old male white boxer who weighs 70 pounds. He is not blind or deaf and has no health issues. He currently lives with Roccsi another boxer and a small Maltese. He gets along great with both. But he does try to assume the role of the Alpha male. Both Rocco and Roccsi are available for adoption. He has been with Roccsi since he was about 9 months old. He was adopted from a shelter at around 6 months old but now his family can no longer care for him and his pal Roccsi. Since he is a shelter dog he is extra loving and ready to please his owner. Rocco also gets along great with children. He has never been tested with cats. Rocco does tend to be a bit protective of Roccsi on occasion when around other dogs. This is something that he needs to work on. Rocco does well in a yard and has never tried to escape. He needs lots of exercise and attention. He loves wrestling/boxing with good pal Roccsi. He is also a rather chill dog and loves to sit around and sleep as much as he can. He does well in a kennel and is house trained. He is also obedient inside the home and will do well with rules, such as no couch jumping, etc. Rocco does great on a leash and stays by his human while walking. He could use some training on his manners such as not jumping up in excitement when seeing people. He loves car rides and does well on short and long trips. Rocco just wants someone who will never let him down again. He will be the best friend anyone could ever hope to find. Rocco has amazing potential and just needs to find the right family that can care for him and give him the attention he deserves.
