It has been 2 days since Cleo died, it was a very tough time for everyone who know Cleo, specially me and my boyfriend. But we are recovering, we believe that she is going to heaven and living in a very good life. She is no longer need to face any pain..... Someone up there will look out for her.
She is always in our mind and everything in there remind me of hers. I know Cleo loves Bandit and we are going to take good care of him and give him a wonderful life. We miss you, Cleo!

Cleo died this morning Oct 4, 2005 at about 2:20am. It was so sudden. She had been shaking the last two days, my boyfriend and I were thinking that she was cold because she had that problem before and the vet said she was fine.
It was a nice day yesterday Oct 3.... My boyfriend and I were both having day off. We took her and Bandit out to a new park and have a nice walk together in the afternoon. She was such a good girl, she never polled on her leash the whole time and was very loving. We were all having a very fun time and then I dropped off my boyfriend with Cleo and Bandit at home and I went to the store to pick up some new dog food for Cleo, I got her some relaxation/calming pills because I was thinking she might be stressed out with Bandit. I went to Target and picked up my sister's present and went to buy dinner for my boyfriend and I. Everything seemed to move very smoothly until I arrived home, my boyfriend's niece was screaming that Cleo was very sick.
I ran home and saw her drooling and shaking really bad, she had muscle constraction...We both took her to the emergency room at about 8 30pm and the vet needed to do a blood test on Cleo... I came back to the vet at about 11 30pm and they said they couldn't find anything from her test, she is likely having a genetic problem, which she was born with it. They suggested me to either let her stay and had her inject some medications when she has seizures or take her home and wait until morning and find a specialist or vet. They were not sure if Cleo could hold on the whole night but would let me choose to put her down.
I took her home later on because I wanted her to see my boyfriend and Bandit. I was hoping that she might get better and took her to the vet early in the morning. She was then having seizures every 5-10mins.... later on, she was having them like every 2-3 mins.... I couldn't stand watching her suffer like that. My boyfriend and I were both in so much pain from watching her go through all this. I called my boyfriend's sister, who lives in the same apt, tp stop by and see Cleo the last time before we put her down. We took her back to the emergency room and she died very peacefully which we both are glad to see.
I am going to contact the breeder today and see what they could do. I am not sure if I want another puppy from them because we don't think they are very good breeder. We don't want to go through all that again but I am not sure if we can get the money back because the vet said they cannot proof that she has genetic problem, they believed that is what causes her dead but they couldn't show any proof. It was so hard, for me, my boyfriend, and everyone who know Cleo. She is only 10 and half months old and was very healthy all the time......
My head is hurting so bad. I have been crying since last night and couldn't get over it still... I couldnt sleep and I am falling apart....

We will miss you and love you forever!

Mommy took home a new puggie last week. His name is Bandit and he was about 9 weeks old when he first got here. I played with him a little at the beginning and notice that he is not just a visitor. Is he gonna stay here forever?? I was stress out at the beginning. I started not eatting much and always go to sleep.

Bandit has been living with me a little over a week now. I guess I will have to deal with sharing Mommy and Daddy with him. I started playing with him and hey, this fat little guy can actually run pretty fast!!! We are now always play with each other, Mommy and Daddy still treat me like they used to. They never ignore me at all. Actually, I really enjoy playing wth Bandit. He is kind of cute and funny. He always sleeps with his belly up and he loves my family. He always sits in front of Mommy and Daddy and looking at them in a very funny way. He always like stealing my bones and food. I am not very crazy with my food, so I will let him have it. But for the treats, I will run very fast and try to escape from him stealing it right from my mouth.

Mommy and Daddy said I am a smart girl, I should teach Bandit all the tricks that I have learned. But right now, they mainly want me to teach him where to go potty. He always pee and poop on the floor during the first week, but since I am a good teacher and sister, I taught him where to go potty and he starts learning it. He still has accidents sometimes but he starts knowing where to go do his business...
