Doggie Dynamics:
not playfulvery playful

Quick Bio:
-mutt-dog rescue

Being with people, getting her ears rubbed, going for walks/runs/trips to the dog park, lots of attention, and sleeping on the couch all day.

Being left home alone (separation anxiety), getting stuck having to constantly play with Dove.

Favorite Toy:
Her Hide A Squirrel toy. It is a stuffed hollow 8" stump with several holes to hide the little stuffed squirrels in. She loves getting them back out.

Favorite Food:
Anything. She is not picky at all.

Favorite Walk:
Walking around the neighborhood, and playing at the dog park.

Best Tricks:
Freaking out when she is left home alone, tricking people at the dog park into giving her tummy rubs. She loves tummy rubs!!!

Arrival Story:
She came from the Humane Society. I wasn't really sure if I was going to adopt a dog but decided to go look anyways. She was probably the sweetest, most calm dog there. The minute I saw her I realized she was meant for me. I went home and thought about it for probably 30 minutes and rushed right back to get her. A few weeks after I got her I realized she had a bad case of separation anxiety. She chewed up plastic and metal crates, ripped up blinds, broke a window, chewed up wood work, and screamed/howled/whine like someone was killing her while I was gone. We went to visit the animal behaviorist at the U of MN. She was put on medication, enrolled in daycare, and we spent many hours every evening working on getting her used to being home alone. That all got very expensive but she was worth the trouble. Most people thought I was crazy to keep her.

Angel is the sweetest dog that everyone loves. She is calm, quiet, is a couch potato until the leash comes out, and never seems to do anything wrong. We still struggle with her separation anxiety a bit -- I'm not sure if she will every completely get over that. Aside from that she truly is the perfect dog. I truly miss her when she has to stay home..
