Arrival Story:
We adopted Iris from our local animal shelter. She was a puppy and my kids absolutely fell in love with her. She was very malnourished when we got her and her front legs weren't working. We love Iris dearly, but she is somewhat destructive. She digs, runs off after prey if she can get out the front door. We now suspect she may be something called a Carolina Dog (or part - or perhaps Carolina Dog just means ultimate mutt - I don't know - but she looks a lot like other people's pictures).
