Arrival Story:
Mora was technically just supposed to be a purchase from some backyard breeder. I found an ad for Catahoula/Pitts on craiglist and having had dogs from both breeds fell in love with the idea of a mix. After going to see her I quickly realized that it would be a rescue instead. She was only 5 1/2 weeks old and the owner had already sold her once to a family friend who was now selling her again. She was being kept outside in a dirt yard with several other large dogs and a few pigs. She was not ready to be away from her mother and I knew that I could give her better than what she was getting. And we quickly fell in love!
