Gotcha Date: February 28th 2013 Birthday: January 1st 2013 Likes: Bulldozing his siblings, sleeping (recharging), chewing everything he's not supposed to. Pet-Peeves: Being ignored, his crate, his toys being tidied up. Favorite Toy: A big, soft yellow ball with different material and bits to tug... His blanket and his Kong frisbee. Favorite Food: Anything that he's not supposed to have. Favorite Walk: The park with Dexter. There's always lots of other doggies too :o) Best Tricks: sit, lay down, beg (sitting but lifting his front feet off the ground), spin and stay. Arrival Story: I lost my darling boy, Rocky at the end of October 2012 and it was extremely hard for Dexter and I to come to terms with.
But as most of you know, with time comes healing and after three months of mourning, I felt ready to add a new puppy to the house.
I couldn't quite decide between a Parson or a Dalmatian and after a long self-induced debate, I decided on a Parson. I had also decided that after a whole life of rescuing dogs, I was going to invest in a rather expensive KC Registered puppy...
Out of pure luck, a very well-respected Parson breeder had a new born litter :o)
Within a week, I was visiting the breeder and trying to pick a puppy.
Eventually I picked out Skipper... My favourite film as a youngster was 'My Dog Skip' and as I was getting a Parson, it felt right to name him after the main Parson in the movie :o)
