Arrival Story:
Searching for a rescue dog (very important to me), I went to the website for a local rescue agency looking for a lab-type dog, preferably 2 to 3 years old. Instead, I saw Lexi - a six-month old AmStaff baby. Her deep brown eyes and butterfly nose drew me in, and the description on the website of her as "her foster mom's sweet little shadow" sealed the deal. The Friday before Christmas 2012, we surprised our kids with what they'd wanted for years - a sweet, fun-loving dog to call their own.
