Arrival Story:
Like the rest of his family, I was working at the shelter the first time I saw Geisel. He came in with his mom and two sisters, found dumped on a dirt road in the middle of nowhere. The puppies (about four weeks old) were filthy, covered in fleas, and the mother had mastitis so bad that she could no longer nurse them. So I took the litter home to foster them, leaving mom in the caring hands of the shelter; because of her sweet disposition she was quickly adopted. The weeks passed and I quickly grew attached to my little puppies and yet was still very eager to see them off to their forever homes. The two girls got adopted back to back, and poor Geisel was left alone, whimpering in his crate. I couldn't take it, and so quickly adopted the little boy, and he's lived with me ever since!
Bio:
We had Geisel DNA tested and the results shocked us! We were positive that he had some German Shepherd in there somewhere, but it was nowhere to be seen! He's a Border Collie/Husky/Cairn Terrier mix.
His parents basically were a Cairn Terrier x Husky mix and a Border Collie x Mixed Breed.
His mixed breed parentage is made up of:
