Arrival Story:
Tabitha had been abandoned in a box at my neighbors' house. She had been there for at least two days with no food or water and another neighbor found her and brought her to me. I work with a German Shepherd Rescue and so it seemed an obvious step to take. She was severely dehydrated and malnourished. Tabitha was covered with hundreds of fleas, belly was bloated with worms and very lethargic. I immediately got some water in her, covered her with Diatomaceous Earth and dewormed her the following day. I knew she was a pretty sick puppy when she turned away from food.
