Arrival Story:
We adopted Bella in 2002 from the Sterling Animal Shelter in Sterling, Massachusetts. We had been looking for a dog for quite some time and checking the shelter's website often, and when we saw her brother's picture up on the page we ran down there as soon as we could. By the time we were filling out the adoption papers, 3 out of 5 of her brothers were being adopted at the same time! She was the only girl in the litter and we got her just in time. She has been out best friend ever since :)
Bio:
Bella and her brothers were abandoned in the woods at only 3 weeks old. A staff member bottle fed and raised the litter until they were put up for adoption at 5 weeks old.
