Bio:
Meet Mr. Wilson! Mr. Wilson is a lovely light flashy brindle with a gray face who weighs in at about sixty pounds. Mr. Wilson is a distinguished elderly gentleman, around 10 years old. He’s looking for his retirement home.
Mr. Wilson currently lives with a small dog and a cat, and enjoys the company of both. He does growl when large dogs challenge him, but for the most part, he is dog-friendly. Mr. Wilson’s favorite activity in the world is cuddling up with his tween-aged human foster sister. He is calm, laid back, and very sweet. Mr. Wilson needs to gain a few more pounds and does suffer from some arthritis in his back end, but an anti-inflammatory is helping considerably.
Mr. Wilson is working on house-breaking and is making great progress. He is leash-trained and is overall very well-mannered. He is crate-trained, but does NOT enjoy his crate time yet. This is probably because he suffers from some separation anxiety and doesn’t like being left alone. Because Mr. Wilson is elderly, he doesn’t require nearly as much exercise as a young boxer, and is perfectly content to lay on his bed in the house.
Mr. Wilson is looking for a retirement home filled with love and a perhaps a child to spoil him!
