Squirrels, birds (especially the big birds that come into our yard for worms and water), rabbits, critters of any kind...
When Celo bugs me by getting too close. He doesn't realize we terriers like our space!
Spiderman, Incredible Hulk with the green hair I can chew on, the orange gorilla that squeaks and grunts.
cheese, lamb lung, beef heart
The river trail where all the rabbits run across the trail while we're walking on it....
I'm just starting to learn stuff. But the trick that is hardest for me to do? "Quiet, Itza!"
I was at the pound. Mom and Dad saw me on Petfinder. They were looking for another beagle to be a nice calm beagle friend for my sister Meri. The Petfinder ad said I was a beagle mix. So Mom called the pound, who said my old family gave me up because I'm noise sensitive, which Mom thought wasn't too bad. She and Dad drove hours to meet me. I was very sweet and very quiet. So they liked me a lot. Then the pound people gave them paperwork from my old owner which said I was a Parson Russell terrier mix. Oops! And they looked at me and realized I'm likely mixed with cattle dog. But I was very sweet and cute; and it was too late. They had already fallen in love with me.... so they brought me home.
Once we got my new little beagle sister, a bald eagle started to show up, swoop, and watch her like she was prey. I bark and chase the eagle away. So Mom is certain that I am a herding dog. She doesn't see any beagle in me, which is ok, because we got Carmie, our new little sister.
My family totally loves me. I herd and protect the others and keep them in line. So Mom says this has worked out great.
And I'm pretty happy with my family. The humans are really nice. The other dogs are kind of crazy. But this is way better than the pound. And honestly, it's nice to know that I'm finally in a home where I'm loved unconditionally and will be here FOREVER.
