Arrival Story: Meet Lotus! Lotus is a small, flashy fawn girl with an underbite that stops traffic! She has a beautiful shape for a Boxer and is heartworm negative. Lotus is estimated to be two years old.
Lotus arrived in rescue from the Waco area, where she was hit by a car. This poor baby had a fractured pelvis and multiple contusions on her body, but her youth and determination have helped her heal quite nicely. Lotus lives with other dogs and cats, and is friendly with both. She has met quite a few children and has adored their attention and pets.
Lotus is an energetic girl who enjoys running and playing with other dogs, but especially loves chew toys. Lotus is housebroken, leash-trained (her foster mom uses a walker and is able to manage Lotus on a leash!), and knows basic commands such as “sit” and “stay.”
Lotus is looking for a home with canine companions and children to love. Ask to meet her today!
Thank you Mei Li Reedy for virtually fostering Lotus!
