Hi all. I haven't been on here in forever, hope you all are doing well.

Diego is doing fine. We've recently gotten into weight pull, and he's doing great at it. (Well, okay, he needs work - but he's been steadily improving and he has fun, so I'm happy.) The weekend before Christmas he pulled his new personal best, 1,260lbs :)

Anyways, happy New Year, everyone!

Hello again!

I'm not sure if anyone is still active on this site anymore - but if you are, hello and I hope you're doing well!

Go-Go is doing great. He had his second birthday last month. He's grown into a wonderful dog. VERY high energy, but still a sweet cuddlebug. :)

We attended our first dog show over the weekend, the ADBA Nationals in New Jersey. G-Go being a mutt, we could only enter the fun classes - had a good time anyway, it was a great experience. We entered the fun wall climb, treadmill race, tried out lure coursing and entered the Judge's Choice class. Go-Go climbed 8ft 8in up the wall! He made me very proud :)

Happy birthday, Go-Go

Goodbye to a dear friend.

Sasha, my sister's basset hound, crossed the Rainbow Bridge last night. She had been hospitalized for a few days, very sick with pancreatitis and gallbladder disease. Unfortunately there was nothing more they could do to help her.

We brought her home, took her for a walk at the river with all our dogs, then later in the night a veterinarian came out to the house and with her owners, myself and our parents giving her lots of love, we said our goodbyes.

Sasha was best friends with my dog, Khloe. She was never fully the same after he passed away. Diego and Sasha had a... certain sort of relationship. Diego loved her, Sasha would sometimes put up with him. She was a very sweet dog, who loved eat and sniff and sunbathe and to sleep under blankets and get butt rubbings and nudge you with her long basset nose if she didn't think she was getting enough attention.

Rest in peace, sweet girl.

Good to hear that Dogster won't be shutting down!

Diego is doing well. He had to have a tooth extracted recently (doofus dog cracked it straight down the center somehow!), he healed up nicely. I bought bought him a carpet mill and he's been learning how to use it. Still continuing with obedience classes, hopefully we'll start competing soon! :)

So sad to hear the community is closing. I've been on Dogster off an on for several years, you've all been here for me with the death of Khloe and Kail, and with my new pup, Diego. Very sad to see this place go.

If you are on Facebook:
If that doesn't work, my name is Kendel L. Hulbert. Please send me a friend request or shoot me an email at, I'd love to keep in contact.

Hugs and love to you all. I will miss you all, and Dogster, dearly.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Santa brought Go Go a new collar, two new leashes, a thundershirt, a new treat dispensing toy and a couple new fetch balls. He's very happy about the fetch balls.

Been a while

Hey everyone. Been a while since we've been on Dogster. :)

Diego is doing well. He's 11 months old now, 55 pounds of muscle and slobber and love. We finished our second obedience class yesterday and he graduated at the top of his class.

Hope you are all doing well.

Diego finished his first obedience class April 23rd. He did great! The teacher was very encouraging and wants us to continue on, she thinks he would make a good competition dog. :) In other news, he went swimming today! I am so proud of him, he went out in the river all on his own and had a great time doing it. Only one bad thing: he kept bringing me back fish instead of the balls and sticks I was throwing for him! Eww!
