Bio:
Ted is my miracle dog. Just recently we were strolling on the blackyspit beach. I took him to the dog park to play but kept him on the leash. A massive pitbull came in out of nowhere(Off the leash) And lunged at my puppy. He was out to kill basically. He was silent, and his tail was erect and stiff like his body frame. Those were the signs for a challenge. Luckily Ted had his harness on so I used that for an advantage. I Swung Teddy up and into a slow paced circle. The Pitbull gave chase but was having a hard time staying on track as he was trying to make sharp turns around me while Teddy was being swung in a circled rout. Teddy was literally screaming. I don't know if he was screaming by being swung around, or by the pitbull trying to kill him. I think it was both. The poor baby even pooped himself during it. The owner tried to stop her pitbull but got half her lip torn off in the process. The pit actually latched onto Teddy's thigh and locked. I was screaming, almost the entire beach was screaming, and it took about 7 guys that came running off the beach finally to unlatch the pit from my Teds and subdue him. That was the WORST day of my and Teddy's life. Since then, Ted and I have been fearful of large dogs. I am okay with some large dogs but I developed a pitbull phobia. But honestly, I am so proud that Ted left that fight without ANY wounds. The only wound he did obtain was a pus/blood bubble on his thigh where the pitbull latched. The only thing that saved the flesh was his large amount of fur. Thank God for his mercy on us.
