Likes: Guarding Meimi. Playing with friends is the best: running, wrestling, playing tug, swimming. Sand-digging. Visiting grandad, he's so lovely. Sleeping in the middle. Sunshine. Weekends; on Friday afternoons she's so happy she always does a little dance :)
Pet-Peeves: Rumba is a very hedonistic dog, so she hates the rain and the sleet, doesn't like getting up early in the morning, not getting people food, leaving the dog park when there's still friends in there, etc :)
Favorite Toy: All kinds, as long as you play with her. Tennis balls are extremely lovely though.
Favorite Food: Pasta pesto and rice pudding, yum. Grandad's reindeer steak. Cinnamon rolls. Ice-cream! Meimi's leftovers, and there's plenty :)
Favorite Walk: In Noux National Park near Helsinki, and the forests near her country home. It's not a walk, it's a RUN!
Best Tricks: Pretending she's fast asleep, pretending she hasn't been fed.
Arrival Story: My partner and I wanted to have a boxer for many many years, but were working and travelling a lot and lived abroad for a few years, so couldn't really find the time needed.
Rumba was born the morning after we returned to our home country of Finland. It was also my birthday, so we have a strong feeling that fate was heavily involved :)
We went to see Rumba when she was a one-week-old little rat-looking creature. After that it was pure agony waiting for seven weeks before she joined our family!
Rumba is such a joy to us, we love her to bits.
Bio: Rumba was diagnosed with spondylosis in the beginning of 2004. We're hoping she could lead quite a normal life regardless, and won't have pains when the illness progresses.
Fortunately it looks like she has passed the worst stage of her illness, and in the beginning of 2005 she's in great health!

I know Mummy has been very very VERY bad with my diary, but now I forced her to write an entry;
last night we went to an art event, and I was the artist's muse!!! How lovely! There were at least six pictures of me, all of them very good, let me just add. Meimi and Mum loved them, too, even though Meimi was glued to the bowl of goldfish crackers... well, I had a little nibble myself, just to see if they were ok for lil sis to eat!
Will post pictures as soon as I get them, how exciting!!!

I was loved by Della May Bottomline, my fellow Dogster boxer. She's such a sweetie! We're very much alike, and I wish I could meet her one day!
