Did Aura "talk" at your house?
"Aura's other name was "Aur-ra-ra-ra-ra-ra" because she said so. ;-)

Hi Liz,
Aura is adjusting well and has really taken to Serge. We take turns walking her so sometimes she gets three walks a day. She really is a character, she "talks: and she moves her moth when she wants to eat,
and she makes noises when she wants to walk.
Aura slipped out front when the cabel man was here after the tornadoes (with no leash) and Serge said to her "Aura get back in the house" and she went in:).
They chase after rabbits if they are on the leash and try to pull me. I had them both on the double leash, and Aura took off so fast (glad you had me wait until my shoulder healed) that the connecter link jumped unclipped. Aura was then just tied to Kemah who acted as an anchor since *she* tuckered out quickly. Fortunately I saw this could happen and I clipp Kemah to her hard collar and not to her choke. Kemah is good she really doesn't even need a leash, unless there is a rabbit. It is a good thing that Aura was in that no pull harness as it pulls under her legs so she can't pull me down the street.
Kemah will go around the block once twice a day and then we drop her off at home and go farther. She is a lot livelier since Aura came along and it is good for her to have a routine with another dog for feeding and walking. She seems more motivated.
Aura's pet insurance went though as of May first. She then needs a meet and greet exam with the vet and then we can set her up for spaying.
