Birthday: March 14th 1992 Likes: Following mama all around the house. She actually likes to be brushed especially on her neck. Pet-Peeves: hates the rain!!!! Favorite Toy: none, does not bother with those. Favorite Food: Yogurt (strawberry), turkey. Anything that we are eating she feels she should taste test it for us for freshness. Favorite Walk: Anywhere outside. When she gets tired of walking she will completely STOP and stand still until I pick her up and carry her. She is not afraid of anything. Best Tricks: Waves hello and goodbye, depending. Also closes cupboard doors. She also "knocks" (scratches) on the door of the bathroom when you are in there if she feels she should be in there with you. Arrival Story: Adopted from previous owner 8 years ago (friend's mom). Went to adopt other I.G. (Duffer) so that Luc would have a friend and couldn't leave the Dee-Vo behind. She just got me with how cute and soooo sweet she is. Bio: She thinks she' s larger than she is. She is missing teeth (she had some pulled at the "dentist") so her tongue hangs out the side several inches. She also enjoys wearing sunglasses when the sun is shining.... Always licking 1 of the other 2 I.G.'s until they fall asleep. Divot is my little shadow. She will go anywhere in the house that I go, wait for me when I am in the shower, walk behind me doing laundry you name it. Divot can do no wrong...ever. She is my perfect sweetie!
Divot left us on January 20, 2007. She lost her battle with kidney failure and a bad heart. We noticed her signs of illness in the beginning of December and started treatment right away. Unfortunately her kidney's were beyond repair, although her heart was accepting the medicine. It was so hard, but in our hearts we know that she is no longer in pain. Now Divot and Duffer are together running and playing. Divot is probably licking Duffer all over! She will forever be missed and her memory cherished. One day I will be with her again.
