Arrival Story:
Cooper came to us from Midwest Dog Rescue Network. He was saved from a kill shelter in Springfield, MO after being found a stray. 24 hours before he was scheduled to be euthanized, kind rescue volunteers raised funds and found him a foster home.
When we met him, it appeared Cooper was either neglected or abused. The moment you reached for him, he cowered or lied on his back. But, we could tell Cooper was a sweet dog and couldn't wait to make him part of our family. Cooper now loves to play, cuddle, and wag his tail. We love him and we're so glad he is part of our family!
Bio:
Cooper is a gentle boy - a little gentleman, when he lies down, he crosses his front paws in a very proper way. He is also a "chameleon" who matches his energy level to what is going on around him. He is incredibly intelligent and aims to please by nature.
