Anything dropped on the floor, also those Ginger Bread Mailmen my friend Kristen The Denver Post Food Editor made last week.
Around the open space if Floyd isn't with me (he doesn't understand that coyotes aren't just big dogs), and lovely leash walks in town when the dope has to come with us.
Pretending to be a total homer, but really being just as willful as cockers are supposed to be.
I was adopted from a nice family in Loveland, Colorado. My people were worried that this was a puppy-mill sort of situation, but the breeders apparently took very good care of me and made me be well-adjusted, ball-loving dog. They know this now because they got Floyd, a roan cocker, from a genuine puppy mill and he is an annoying mess. To me, anyway. And to the rabbits in our yard -- could he please stop chasing them???
Although Toddy received excellent care from the oncology staff at Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital this year, he lost his brave battle against an especially nasty throat tumor believed to have begun in his thryoid. We had him put down on Nov. 10, 2007 and miss him very, very much.
