Arrival Story: Roxy was dumped in a shelter, injured & neglected. She was pulled by a Los Angeles-area rescue then abandoned again at a vet's office. I had offered to foster her - provided there was rescue backing - and showed up at the vet's to get her after hernia surgery…and had to pay the bill. So she is now a member of our pack, because no one wanted to adopt a cranky old Poodley-girl.
Bio: Roxy went into distress on New Year's Eve. All the local vets were closed but I found an open ER...we got ready to go and as I picked her up I knew we wouldn't make it to the hospital in time. Roxy died in my arms as I pet her & spoke to her. She was our little pain in the butt sometimes, but we loved her & sure do miss her.
