Arrival Story:
Izzie came to my house in the summer of 2008 just a few weeks old. My daughter dachshund Saddie is her Mother. I kept both of them for 6 weeks while my daughter moved, in that time we fell in love with her and her brother Ford. We kept both of them and have been very happy since.

Bio:
Izzie had back surgery 8 days ago she lost feeling in both her back legs. My vet suggested surgery, said she still had feeling and would be a good candidate. She is sitting up and wagging her tail now but still not trying to walk. My vet said to give her time, that it might take up to two months. We go back tomorrow to get her stitches out, and start therapy. I would love to hear from anyone with the same situation. My heart breaks for her and just what to see her walk again.
