Gotcha Date:

Birthday:
August 20th 2007

Likes:
To be with her people, laying in sun patches on the floor, sleeping in bed or on the couch with mom, playing with her "cousin" Riley.

Pet-Peeves:
Being left alone for too long, having her nails clipped, going out in the rain and cold.

Favorite Toy:
Her half-chewed black Kong, tennis balls (she peels them!)

Favorite Food:
Anything I put in front of her! Also, she has now stolen a second loaf of bread, (the first one was wheat, the second was white) so Im thinking she really likes bread!

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere the road takes us!

Best Tricks:
She lifts both back legs when she pees, and can scale mountains of laundry to reach the counter and the top of the microwave in order to steal loaves of bread.

Arrival Story:
After the loss of my first dog Sadie, I was very sad and lost without a dog in my life. I was browsing the local SPCA website daily, looking for a dog to speak to me. About four days after Sadie passed, an old boyfriend called me and asked if I'd be interested in a Boston Terrier. Grace's owner's were moving, and couldnt take her with them. After taking a day to sleep on it, I decided to let Grace share my life. She came to me eight days after Sadie's passing; I recieved both Grace and Sadie's ashes on the same day. Grace is partially blind in one eye after being stung by a bee when she lived in New York. She compensates extremely well, although if I throw her toy on the blind side, it takes her a little longer to find it. She is also missing a toe on her left paw. It had to be amputated after she attacked the lawn mower. Grace may not be wrapped too tight, but she brings joy and humor into my life on a daily basis.
