My Hiking Adventure!

Today was so much fun!
First, I slept in until 8:36 AM.
Then, I went out to go potty and daddy almost left me outside. Well, maybe that is not so good.
After that, I ate breakfast!
Then, a few hours later, I went for a long hike at the state park. In the middle of the hike, we stopped on a ledge and ate lunch. i had some apples with peanut butter, cinnamon and olive oil. We walked for 3 hours and traveled over four miles. I also went swimming too!
We just got home and I am zonked out on my crate.

Walk?

I am getting excited! My owners just said that they might take me on a walk! One of my favorite walks is at a river near our house. It is a state park and has a 5 mile long trail. My owners take me there all the time. Sissy and Daddy are home today because Sissy is on spring break and Daddy took this week off.
Update! I am going to the park! Daddy just said that we can go. Yippee!

Dog park!

I have had a wonderful day!
First, I had my favorite breakfast! It is oatmeal, cranberries, cranberry jelly, bananas, apples, wheat germ, cinnamon, apple cider vinegar, and flaxseed! My stomach is growling just thinking of it.
Next, I went for a car ride in daddy's truck! Sissy came along too, and she is a really good pillow. I just hung my head out the window while they escorted me around town.
After a while, I realized that we were not on an average car ride. We were doing something even better! We went to my favorite place, the dog park! When we drove past the sign, I started whimpering because I knew that we were going to the dog park. Today was kind of rainy, but the rain stopped at about breakfast time. They were worried that nobody was going to be there because it is Friday and most people are at work. There were a few cars in the parking lot, so that was good. When we pulled into the parking lot, I nearly trampled my sister to death because I was excited! I dragged daddy to the gate and then our adventure started! They let me off the leash as soon as the gates were safely closed, and I immediately ran over to the other side of the park. I made friends with a slightly smaller lab mix named Sophie, and then two labradoodles came over to say hi, too. Another lady had a lab/german shepherd mix, a black lab and a yellow lab. They were friendly, too. I wrestled with Sophie for about 20 minutes while my owners talked with her owner. We invented a really fun game where I played in the water bowl and Sophie laid down and when I wandered back, she ambushed me. We played that three times, I peed. Sophie sniffed my pee while I wandered off. My owners brought my toy, treats, water, Sissy's phone, Sissy's wallet, poop bags and my backpack, which we carried everything in. I played fetch for a little while, and then got a tennis ball and played with that. My owners went over to get another tennis ball, but the park was all out. Then I got a drink from my water bottle/bowl. We played a little more fetch, and then I got another drink. Then we all went over to the other end of the park, and then I met a two german shepherd mixes, a doberman mix and a Jack Russell terrier mix named Daisy. I sniffed the shepherds and the doberman. Then I chased one of the shepherds around. I ran over to the other end of the park. When I came back, I got a treat. Then I chased Daisy around. She was fast and could make really sharp turns because she was smaller. I chased her around for 2 minutes. Then,
we just walked around the park al little bit more. Then I played with a pit bull and a German shepherd mix. After that, we walked around some more and I played with the doberman and the two german shepherds. We finally decided to leave at lunchtime. I spotted Daisy and decided to chase her one last time. That was fun. Daddy put my leash on and Sissy opened the gates. When I got into the truck I was really thirsty, so I drank my entire water bottle. I stuck my head out the window and we drove off.
Next, we went to Wendy's and Daddy ordered a junior cheeseburger and a regular cheese burger with Coca Cola and fries, Sissy ordered a spice chicken Caesar salad with Sprite, and Mommy ordered the same thing. I didn't get anything because I am not supposed to eat any more junk food. I say that because yesterday I got into three boxes of chocolate. My owners called the vet and he said that it was okay. That was a relief.
Then, we got home and I went for a walk. I played around in puddles, and sniffed and peed-it was just delightful.
After that, my sister brought me into her room and groomed me. First, she brushed out my fur with a pin brush. Then, she brushed off my fur with a bristle brush and finally, rubbed olive oil into my fur. I licked myself for a minute because I love olive oil almost more than I love butt odor.
After my grooming session, my sister gave me my daily olive oil supplement. That was really good because I didn't have to keep risking a hairball by licking my fur.
I just had my other favorite meal of the day, sweet potato stew. It is brown rice, sweet potatoes, peanut butter, cranberry jelly, apples, pinto beans and black beans. Since I am just starting my homemade vegan diet, we mix it in with California Natural.
As we speak, I am in my bed, in my sister's room. I can't wait to go to bed. Going to the dog park sure made me tired.
In a little while, my teeth are going to get brushed. Wish me luck.
