I lost Max the previous September. I had wanted another Shiba but it didn't work out. One Saturday, something kept pushing me to go to the animal shelter. I saw Jake and asked why a Yorkie was in the city animal shelter. A college student had dropped him off the day before. He looked awful (picture included) but he was so sweet, we took him. The first thing I did was take him to a groomer. He's a handsome fellow and he's helped me get over losing Max and is now Mommy's little man.
