Arrival Story:
I am not really the guardian of Hayden. A friend of mine had an accidental litter and she knows it was a mistake and plans to have her female spayed as soon as the pups are weaned. My room mate has been wanting a dog for a long time, but he is more of a small dog person. We went over to look at the pups and we both fell in love with little Hayden. Since Hayden will be living at my house most of the time, I got to pick her name. She is named after former Superbike champ and current MotoGP racer Nicky Hayden. My room mate isn't my room mate all the time. The situation is kind of weird. He house sits for a friend of his and that house is about an hour and a half from his work. Sometimes he stays out there when he wants some time alone and need to tend to the house. The rest of the time he stays at my house which is less than 20 minutes from school and word. He has his own room, key, etc. We are basically going to be "sharing" Hayden. I already have 3 dogs of my own, but I told him so long as he is responsible, cleans up after her, etc, I don't have any problem letting him have a puppy. It will be so strange to have a small breed dog around, though. My smallest dog weighs 55 pounds. lol

Bio:
Hayden cannot come home until April 4th, so my roomie goes and visits her often and sometimes I go see her and take my dogs to see her so they get used to her. They have warmed up to her rather quickly. She has already had her first set of shots and she will be spayed when she gets her rabies shot at about 4 months of age.
