Arrival Story:
Update 11/12/12- Arthur has found a wonderful home, we couldn't be happier for him!!! The Rogers’ Rescues volunteers met Arthur during a recent trip to one of the rural shelters we work with in Kentucky and his foster mom immediately fell in love with him and knew she couldn’t leave him behind. So now he is in foster care in NJ until he finds his forever home.

Bio:
Arthur is probably just about 1 year old and weighs approximately 75 pounds. We’re not sure of his breed mix, although we’re pretty sure he is a golden retriever mix due to his sweet, loving, fun personality and the fact that he enjoys water. Whatever breeds he might be, he is simply beautiful both inside and out. He’s like a big teddy bear and loves all people and just wants to be pet and loved. He’s also good with other dogs and despite his size he tends to be on the submissive side with them but will gladly play with them if they’re interested. He has been a wonderful houseguest – he is crate trained and house trained and is easily redirected as he learns that toys and bones are okay to chew on but the chair leg is not. He is a smart boy and eager to please and should take to further training very easily. Arthur enjoys a good walk or playtime in the yard daily and would love a family of his own to enjoy fun times with – please contact us if you’re interested in this sweet, gorgeous boy!
