Happy Easter!

Well, I am feeling much, much better. I am off my medicine and I can once again sleep in the bed and not my crate! Since I am so well rested, I was very excited to go to my grandparents house for Easter. There were 5 other dogs there for me to play with! There was a 3 year old boy there and every time I had the chance I stole a gummy bear off of him! He was a perfect height for me to be able to grab them out of his hands! Mommy said its not nice to steal candy from babies! I say it was fair game, he had a whole basket full!

Why does everyone pick on me at easter and call me the Easter bunny or peter cottontail???

The roughest weekend ever...

Wow, last weekend was really rough. My people were at home with me all day, my mom sat around and watched TV with me and later that night they put me in my crate (yuck!) and went to the movies without me. When they got home about 4 hours later I was hurting so bad, as soon as my people came in the door I started crying harder than I ever cried. Mommy was really scared and didn't know what to do so she took me outside. I felt really sick and was walking kind of funny, I couldn't move my back legs. Mommy started crying and called the doctor. The next thing I know we are in the car on the way to the emergency vet. The vet took X rays of me and pushed on my back which made me cry again, she shaved my two front legs and put an IV in me. I had to stay there all night long. My people came and picked me up the next day,mommy looked like a mess and I heard her say she didn't sleep at all. Turns out I have a funny spine and compressed vertabrae. The doctor gave me some medicine which I like because mom wraps it up in ham! I am feeling better now, my people still have to carry me up and down the steps, the DR says I have to be on light duty for 2 more weeks. I can't wait to feel all better and beat up my sponge bob again!
