I fostered Misty and fell in love with her.

Bio:
Misty was surrendered twice to the same high kill shelter in NC. She was scheduled to be euthanized when the rescue I volunteer with pulled her. She was an add on because there was room in the plane, and the intake coordinator agreed to take her even though there was no foster lined up for her. I fostered her...and before I even left the parking lot, I knew she was probably staying. She was heavily matted and had to be shaved, but underneath that mess emerged a beautiful, sweet little dog who walked into my house like she had lived there all her life. Slept in bed with me the first night, got the routine right away...and it was uncanny at how my dogs accepted her like she had always been there- it was meant to be!
