Blind.

Bio: Meet Serendipity! Serendipity is a pint-sized two-year old female with a lovely fawn coat and an amazing face. Serendipity is heartworm positive, but Austin Boxer Rescue will pay for her treatment when she is adopted. Otherwise, this young blind Boxer is quite healthy.
Serendipity is dog-friendly, but has not been tested with small children. She does not currently live with a cat, but she appeared cat-friendly during early testing. She had a very rough beginning, but you can’t tell from her friendliness and loving personality. Once she gets to know you, she is a tiny ball of love and energy all rolled into one!
Serendipity’s foster mom describes her as the sweetest dog she has ever met, and that’s saying something because her foster mom is quite attached to her own dogs! Serendipity loves to cuddle with her Bulldog foster brother and can often be found kissing her Pug foster sister. Considering her inability to see, she does wonderfully around the house and the backyard. She will spend a lazy Sunday lying next to you on the couch or a Saturday running around the trail. She is happiest when she is by your side. She gets really excited when she knows she is about to go on a walk/run, and nearly jumps out of her skin when you get home!
Serendipity is housebroken and crate-trained, and she’s working on her leash manners. Because she is blind, she is a bit nervous when meeting new dogs. Slow introductions are necessary since she cannot read the other dog’s body language. However, once she feels secure, she is a great furry sibling! Don’t wait for a serendipitous opportunity – ask to meet this girl today!

Leave a bone for Serendipity
