Arrival Story:
My sister walked out of her job the other day and saw two little dogs playing in the road, a chihuahua, and Jack (I've decided he's a long haired chi-weenie... which is probably wrong, but I don't care that much since he's absolutely amazing). She called me, asking what to do. She had a dog at home, I had two, but she couldn't let them keep running around all over the busy streets of Miami. She picked them up, and I went to her house to visit with the two newcomers. Immediately, I eyed the chihuahua suspiciously. A little chubby, big nipples... yup folks, it turns out she was pregnant. So while my sister took the chihuahua (Princess) into her care, I decided to take Jack. My small apartment only technically allows one dog, and I have been getting away with having two for years. Three though, was a big problem. That first night, Jack replicated everything my dogs did. He barked when they barked, peed outside when they did, and decided that I was "Mommy" when he curled up on my chest to sleep through the night. When I woke up that morning to his kisses on my face, and watched him repeatedly LEAP into the air with excitement when I woke up, I knew I was in trouble. I LOVED this little bundle of happiness.

Jack was reluctant to walk on a leash at first, and wrestled his way free of his collar several times (leading to high speed chases between he and I). Now he walks on a harness, and has learned exactly what he's supposed to do. He's almost potty trained, he knows what he's supposed to be doing, but as a puppy he still has accidents. He loves to curl up on somebody's lap, and will occasionally look up to give your face some kisses. He runs around playing with my other two dogs, and has really brought the puppy out of my 7 year old Yorkie. He does get some separation anxiety, and will probably cry when you leave in the morning.
