Nicknames: Austin Boxer Rescue Arrival Story: Meet Ayla! Ayla is a 5-year-old fawn female Boxer who recently became a tri-pod! She came into rescue with a leg that had extensive nerve damage, and the best course of action was to amputate it. She is currently healthy and adjusting to life just fine!
Ayla currently lives with a small dog, and cats. She has not been tested with children, but would probably do well with calm and gentle children.
In addition to learning to manage life with one fewer leg, Ayla is also learning to live life in general! She is very timid and is afraid of new situations until she feels comfortable. Her foster family says she is building confidence daily and is learning to play.
Ayla needs a confident and patient leader to become her full self! Bio: Poor Ayla is a new 5 year old lady who arrived in rescue with a dangling rear leg. She has some use of the leg, but there is no feeling in it so she sometimes injures it without being aware that itis hurt. Ayla is very sweet and calm and is dog and cat friendly. She's very easy on the leash, but because of her injured leg I wasn't able to test her basic obedience. This sweet lady will be pretty big when she fills out, but she has the most adorable sad face
