Favorite Walk: to the pond - she loves to try and get a quick splash in
Best Tricks: fetch
Arrival Story: Roxy was in a kill shelter after giving birth to her pups, she was only 2 years old. They found a home for the pups but Roxy was put on the euth list and my son adopted her. His dog did not adjust so she came to live with us "temporarily" playing with Sammy Dawg and Jessie Girl. She was skin and bones but put on weight nicely and is now a lovely girl and not just a "temporary" visitor. She tried to herd the cats, but Sunny quickly explained to her that doggies give kitties baths and head bonks. Poor Roxy was totally confused by the wee cat that wouldn't run, but now they are great pals. Besides, how can you not fall in love with that face.
Bio: Roxy loved to play with Sammy and to try and get Jessie to play. After Sammy left for the bridge she became more of a caretaker of Jessie. Jessie left us 18 Sept. and Roxy misses her terribly. My daughter's dog Panda happened to come to stay with us for a few months while she looks for a new place and now Roxy is happy and playful again. She loves her quiet time but she adores having someone to play with since the cats are not really interested.
