She sits pretty (thus the name Penguin!), and she will "wait" for a treat for as long as I make her and then dive at it once I say "OK".

Arrival Story:
My oldest daughter was investigating a new dog in the neighborhood and found it was a visiting dog and her two 10 - week - old puppies. She brought the owner and all 3 dogs home and said "can we have one of the puppies?" One had the look of mischief on his face and the other's look just said "pet me". I did and she has been with us ever since!

Bio:
Sierra is a dog rescue helper. I foster dogs for a dog rescue and Sierra helps them know the rules, and helps them recover from whatever nervousness they may be experiencing. She has helped with more than 2o dogs, and helped us foster more than 9 cats including caring for the kittens. She has also helped me raise 4 kittens of our own (bathing them after their bottle feeding), as well as care for more than a dozen rats (not all at the same time!) and a few birds. I may be partial, but I think she is a very special doggie, indeed!
