Arrival Story:
I have known Jewels since she was a few weeks old. Her litter mate Monet has a heart condition and when her Momma Patti would take Monet to OSU I would help when I could by going over for potty breaks, what a wild crew those puppies were. Flash forward a little more than a year, Jewels was still available and her Momma Patti felt it was best she go into a home other than hers, Jewels, Monet and a 3rd litter mate Tugboat had their own little pack thing going on and were causing too much trouble. Jewels first went to a home with another one of her litter mates (8 bulldogs on this litter) but she was not comfortable there and went back to her original home for a week and then came us. She has now been here in our home ten days and she is learning the rules and becoming more adjusted each and every day.
Bio:
Jewels is a red/white Miniture English bulldog. Her bully momma is Willow and her bully daddy is Nigel Emerson, which makes Prissi Lu and she half sisters.

Well, I never!
Big Scary has been on vacation and he has been home more than my momma. When Momma is home I bark at him to let him know she is mine and I am hers! Well the other day he says to me, "I am gonna hug you if you bark at me!"
HE DID IT!! HE HUGGED ME!!!
I made my best attempts to bite him and it did not work, he was not so bad!
Then yesterday Momma was leaving for work in the morning and she would not take me out, she told Big Scary he would be taking me out. I was not happy, I wanted to bite him when he reached for my collar as she walked out the door, but he was too quick for me. It was not so bad.
I have now been hugged a number of times by him, he really is not that bad. As long as he does not move too fast.

So I am lovins my new home, I still did not like Big Scarry but I am getting better.
My Freak Out Sessions are less and less frequent and not as bad when they do occur.
I have been enjoying toys or should I say destroying the toys and I found where the treats are kept and took a whole bag to the bedroom yesterday to enjoy, Momma caught me before I really got to the enjoying part.
Prissi and I play most mornings, as long as Big Scarry is not here. I do loves my Momma ans plays with us all.

Ok so I have now been in my new home for a little over a two months and Momma is convinced I have the same thing as in the movie Fifty First Dates, I might like my daddy one night and then in the morning I think he is Big Scary again!
Last weekend, I was starting to behave like I was liking him and we were getting along great, be the end of the week we were back to my freak out episodes again.
Hey, he is still trying! And that is working out really well for me, I gots a new "Litey Leash" the other day and today I got a very stylish new sweater (I look so AWESOME in it) and a new collar and a new harness and more importantly from a bully's veiw point, some very YUMMY nibbles!!!
Momma does not gives many treats, but Big Scary he really hooks us up! Tonight we gots some of the delish chicken nibbles from his plate. I guess we all need to thank Momma for making the chicken really simple so we could have some of the nibbles.
Momma says Daddy has lots of vacation time before the end of the year and she is hoping that him and I form a better bond and she is looking into some training for him to take me to, not sure I like hat idea, I think Momma should take me.
Kibbles is calling my name....night all!
