Meet Zero! Despite his name he is anything but a zero! He is believed to be around 8 years old and is described as an older "gentleman". He is a gorgeous fawn color and has beautiful, long legs. When he first came to his foster, he was malnourished and his back legs did not seem to work very well. With lots of love and a little time he has progressed so much! Zero is currently fattening up and his legs are doing better. His foster says that there are times when he does lose his balance if he is playing too hard, but this is something that can easily be overlooked when you see his lion's heart and will to love. He loves to "talk" to his foster and is not overly needy. He just likes to eat, sleep, and be near his owner, so he would flourish with a laid back family who loves and accepts him even with his minuscule "limitations." Zero is already housebroken, knows how to use a doggy door, is crate trained, leash trained, and has great manners overall! To add to this perfect package, he is is also wonderful with children, dogs, and seems uninterested in cats even though they are usually kept separate from the dogs at his foster home. His foster says "He is a sweetheart, and would love his own family," and Austin Boxer Rescue could not agree more! If you are in search of a gentle, loving, and experienced Boxer to join your family, look no farther, Zero is definitely your guy!
