My dog Bear died on 6/6/12 and I was so very sad. I felt I needed to adopt another dog to help with my grief. I wanted to get a dog that looked completely different from Bear so that I would not be comparing the two. I found Lavern on petfinder.com. She came from a sanctuary in Texas called Smiling Dog Farms.
