on a side note...check out my moms collar store on etsy! www.etsy.com/shop/CanineCharm Mellow is a failed fighting dog. Apparent from the scars on his face and body. Coming in contact with him you know why he failed. He is the least aggressive dog and calmest one I have ever come across. He was found weighing in at 40lbs with over 200 ticks on his body. Huge sores and a severe case of heartworm. To top it all off it was discovered that there were 11 BB pellets lodged in his body, the vet removed all but 2 of them. In June of 2012 I was online browsing through dogs and stumbled on Mellow. As soon as I saw his photo I knew he was my dog. We moved to NC in September of 2012. To my surprise no on else had called about Mellow and I was able to take him home our first night in NC. He is a wonderful dog and gets more confident and loving every day. He is freindly with dogs, cats and people of all ages. I am happy that he was seemingly meant to be my dog. He is now heartworm free and 75lbs and I wouldn't trade him for anything.
