Favorite Toy: Anything that slightly resembles a ball. He even tried to get my nieces fake playhouse lettuce thrown for him.
Favorite Food: Raw! We've started him on Stella and Chewy's raw for his skin and he's so in love with it that if you open the freezer he's right there to see if it's time to eat.
Favorite Walk: Tyson loves big open spaces. He doesn't like to be somewhere that he can't see his people. Big fields with lots of room are his favorite...a leash is not.
Best Tricks: Chasing the ball in the middle of the night.
Bio: Tyson is such a loyal and loving dog. His daddy is currently deployed so it's him and I against the world. He's such a love and protects me with everything he has. He recently has gone blind in one eye but it doesn't distract him from his daily activities.
Tyson came to us from a very loving family who wasn't able to keep him. They had only arranged to house him for a month or so while his original owner got settled in a new place. Sadly the man who had him first didn't want to take him back. We have no idea why! Tyson is a wonderful dog. He has just the right mixture of protectiveness and playfulness mixed together! He's had some health issues lately, and wasn't neutered when we first got him. Being an older gentleman and going through that process wasn't very fun but he dealt with the cone and made it through like a champ.
He has some rather severe food allergies but after an exhaustive attempt to fix them, we seem to have found a good balance. He eats RAW and Dr. E's Limited Ingredient Buffalo dry. He has several supplements that he takes as well as weekly baths. He's going in for his next checkup in March so we're very excited to show the Vet his improvement!
