Arrival Story:
In the beginning we were not even thinking about Elvis. Just Ozzy. who would have thought that we were going to go home with TWO puppies? not us. When the puppies were about 6-7 weeks old we discovered that Ozzy was deaf. But i was already in love, i couldn't abandon him so we stuck with it and took him home. But i did lots of research before bringing him home and decided to also get a hearing dog for Ozzy and what better companion than a litter mate? So we got the one nobody wanted..Elvis. Nobody wanted him because he only had 4 spots on his body besides his ears. When he was born he had side burns,Elvis side burns. this is how he got his name.

wow! a lot has happened in the past 7 weeks...yes 7 weeks!!! I can't believe i have been living with my new mommy for that long!!! she thinks we are going to be big boys! our daddy weighs over 90 pounds and our mommy weighs 40-45 pounds. I have learned lots of tricks! i can sit, stay, come, down all with just hand signals. My brodder might be deaf but he gets along just fine, he was the star puppy at obedience class. he passed the akc start puppy test! we will be 4 months in 2 days. Mommy and dadddy are debating on weather to get us snipped and chipped...what does it mean to get snipped diary?...

Mommy and daddy came and got me on 9/12. I was so surprised!! they let me play with my mom and dad before we left. I fell asleep the entire car ride home. (2 hours!!!) i slept right beside my momma. Me and my brother have been living with mommy and daddy for a week now and we love it! we are almost potty trained, we just have some pee accidents sometimes. But momma doesnt get mad or hit us like some owners would. she just takes us outside and cleans up the mess. she is the best mommy ever! Me and Ozzy went to out grandmommys house and played with her two dogs max and Kada. Kada is only 11 month old pug. she is fun! Max is a 10 year old Daschound, but he still loves to play with us! We are happy as could be! While at grandmothers momy took us to get our first shots. I didn't like that. They hurt my butt!
Ozzy got really sick and mommy and daddy had to rush him to the emergency clinic. Turns out, we are alergic to the shots (yikes) But all is better now that we are on a blane diet for the next week. We;l time to nap. Night all!

Momma said I turn 8 weeks tomorrow! I'm really excited to go to my forever home in 8 days!! When Bre and Joe came to visit me and Ozzy they gave me so many belly rubs! It was like heaven :)Momma said I have to look our for Ozzy because he can't hear. But what most people dont understand is us dogs communicate mostly with body language than verbal so he'll be ok if our adoptive parents understand that.
