But then i came across an add for Dalmatians for sale. I couldn't resist once i saw Ozzy's picture.. i was in love. So i went to go see all the puppies to see if he was still the one. He was so down to earth, laid back but active. the escape artist. The breeder would wake up to find him on the other side of the fencing.at about 6-7 week we found out that Ozzy was deaf, but i didn't care. I was determined to give him a chance at a normal, happy life. i couldn't turn my back on him. If he would have gotten in the wrong hands and ended up in the pound they would put him down. The AKC and Dalmatian club of America both believe that all deaf puppies should be put down at 3-4 wks old. So we brought him home with us at 8 weeks along with his hearing brother Elvis. I will be 8 weeks old tomorrow. Momma said when I am 9 weeks old I get to go with my forever home. She said not to worry, Elvis is going with me. I'm happy someone picked me to go home with them! I didnt think anybody would want a deaf puppy. But you can't tell that im deaf just by looking at me, i play and run around with the other dogs just like any other puppy would. I can't wait to go home with my adoptive mom and dad! 8 days and counting!! woo hoo!
I am a 7 week old live (brown dalmatian. I am a really calm and relaxed puppy, but I also like to play with my family to. I've met my future owner Breanna twice so far. The first time I was too young and didn't know who she was. But she came to see me this past Saturday and I remembered her! Everyone thinks that I am deaf but nobody knows for sure. They have to take me to the vet the 19th to test me. But if i am deaf my owner is going to bring home my brother Elvis with me, so i wont be so lonely and it'll be easier to train me. 14 days until I go to the vet and get to go home. My moms owner couldn't get us into the vet until the 19th, which is our 9 week birthday. My owner Breanna is really excited to have me, she lives on a old farm house with 5 Acres. So it's a perfect house for a deaf puppy. Well I better go for now my momma is calling for me!
