I do transport for dog rescue and Scruffy (then Buffy) was one of three dogs being transported from Joplin, MO, to a rescue in Chatham-Kent, Ontario. I fell in love with her but adoptions directly from the run are not allowed. I went through the channels to adopt her, and later went up to Detroit to pick her up.
