LOL..This is such a coincendence!!
My Husband and I were looking for a playmate for a 5 mo. old female Weim named Valerie. We spent 4.5 hours at the shelter looking for a pup that matched our personality and that would blend their brothers and sister. [Which is hard to fathom, considering we have three cats and another pup who have their own unique personality]..
We finally gave up and decided to call it a day when my husband saw a man walking in a 10 mo. old Yellow Lab/Terrier mix--the size of Valerie. My husband asked if he was bringing it and the man said, "Unfortunately yes..". She was 10 mo. old, housebroken, up to date on all her shots and had the paperwork that the shelter had given to them (they previously adopted from the shelter we were at). The asst at the SPCA said "Is she coming or going?" I said "Going, definitely going." The man handed us her leash, food/water dishes and his telephone number in case we had any questions and we welcomed our new pup, "Cinder Elle" into our family [The previous owners daughter named the pup "Cinderella" or "Cindy" for short. I wanted to give her a middle name and thought the name Cinderelle was really cute (the name that the mouse sings in the movie. *smile*)
Cinder now knows sit, shake and we are working on lay. She loves to run up and down the stairs and has fun playing with her younger sister, Valerie. :)
Bio:
Lives with 5 mo. old Weim, Valerie and three Himalayan cats (Mr. Jynx, Cirrus and Blue) with their mom&dad in a 2 bed/2 bath apartment on the third floor.
